Parks & Recreation
Parks
Shafer Parks & Recreation Commission believes that Parks and
Open Spaces are vital in providing a well-rounded community.
In addition to the beautiful recreational lakes surrounding this
area, Shafer is home to city parks, several snowmobile trails
and the Swedish Immigrant Bike Trail. These parks include
amenities such as ball fields, ice rinks, nature trails,
pavilions, picnic tables and playground equipment.
